Panini 81

Panini 81 brought the addition of the English 3rd Division and Scottish 1st Division football teams into the sticker album which this year contained 558 stickers.

1st Division – Arsenal, Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Brighton & Hove Albion, Coventry City, Crystal Palace, Everton, Ipswich Town, Leeds Utd, Leicester City, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester Utd, Middlesbrough, Norwich City, Nottingham Forest, Southampton, Stoke City, Sunderland, Tottenham Hotspur, West Bromwich Albion and Wolves.

The 1st Division clubs each had a double page filled with stickers. Firstly there was the Club badge which was made of a gold foil material, alongside this there was a double size team sticker which showed the team line up, in addition to these there was another 13 player stickers per team.

A one special this year was the inclusion of stickers relating to “The Cockney Cup Final” between Arsenal and West Ham Utd, this was a write up on the Final and several stickers showing the action.

2nd Division – Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Bristol City, Bristol Rovers Cambridge Utd, Cardiff City, Chelsea, Derby County, Grimsby Town, Luton Town, Newcastle Utd, Notts County, Oldham Athletic, Orient, Preston North End, Queens Park Rangers, Sheffield Wednesday, Shrewsbury Town, Swansea City, Watford, West Ham Utd and Wrexham.

The 2nd Division teams were presented in tandem with a double sized team line up sticker.

3rd Division – Barnsley, Blackpool, Brentford, Burnley, Carlisle Utd, Charlton Athletic, Chester, Chesterfield, Colchester Utd, Exeter City, Fulham, Gillingham, Huddersfield Town, Hull City, Millwall, Newport County, Oxford Utd, Plymouth Argyle, Portsmouth, Reading, Rotherham Utd, Sheffield Utd, Swindon Town and Walsall.

The newly added 3rd Division teams are the next stickers in the album, these teams though only have a team line up sticker and a bit of info about the club.

Scottish Premier Division – Aberdeen, Airdrieonians, Celtic, Dundee Utd, Hearts, Kilmarnock, Morton, Partick Thistle, Rangers and St Mirren.

The Scottish Premier Division stickers included the club badge, a double sized team line up picture and 12 small player stickers.

Finally came the team picture stickers of the Scottish League 1st Division teams, these were accompanied by a little bit of info on the team.

The teams featured were – Ayr Utd, Berwick Rangers, Clydebank, Dumbarton, Dundee, Dunfermline Athletic, East Stirling, Falkirk, Hamilton, Hibernian, Motherwell, Raith Rovers, St Johnstone and Stirling Albion.
