Stickers

Like most young lads I used to get involved in the playground swapping of footy stickers and the sacrifice of going hungry at dinner time because I had spent my dinner money on packets of stickers.

I can still remember the excitement when I used to find a missing sticker so I suppose it should have come as no surprise that once I “grew up” I would end up collecting the albums all over again !!

So if this is an area that interests you I’ve listed below a few of the albums Ive managed to complete, there is of course loads more makers and suppliers out there but this little lot should be more than enough to get you started !!

By the way as you are probably more than aware there has been plenty of recent stickers released over the last few years so I havent bothered mentioning these, instead all I’ve done is show the ones from the 80’s and 90’s I’ve got.

Panini 1978 – 1982

Merlin 1994 – 1999

Of course there are loads of others you could concentrate on such as Topps, The Daily Mirror, FKS, The World Cup albums etc but you may find those a lot harder (and therefore more expensive) to track down and complete.

We will be coming back to this page and updating it with a few more examples of the various albums available to the collector at a later date so please keep popping back.

For the moment though the Panini/Merlin albums above are “fairly” common and probably offer you the best chance of success in this particlar area of football memorabilia.
